Week 6 ( 18/12/2017 - 22/12/2017)

The sixth week of our school internship started with a lot of enthuciasm on 18/12/2017. This week was also full of exam duty. For me exam supervision is a very nice experience. Through it as a teacher I felt more responsible . On 18/12/2017 I have exam duty. On the morning section in HS and in the afternoon in UP classes. HS students are very self disciplined. But UP students are little more distracted even though it is an exam. On 19/12/2017 I have my duty in UP in the morning section and HS in afternoon. UP students ask a thousand doubts and I felt it little difficult to handle them. On 20/12/2017 and 21/12/2017 we have our exam duties. I went to the classes which was allotted for me. Christmas exams ended on 21/12/2017. So every students were expecting the christmas celebration. But the announcement came that there will be no christmas celebration. There will be only the new year celebration in january. 22/12/2017 was a working day. But most of the students didn't came. So there was no regular class. Teachers had a meeting on the over all development of the school. They cut christmas cake and they shared it with us. I wished eveyone merry christmas and a happy new year. The sixth week of our intership and our last week in 2017 at school was very special and memorable.

Week 5 ( 11/12/2017 _ 15/12/2017)

On 11/12/2017 as usual went to school and classes were taken. Everyone were expecting teachers for class observation
But no one came for the observation. I continued my class with the ICT lessons. On 12/12/2017  we got some special duties in the UP classes. I went to my class also. I completed 18 lesson plans. From 13/12/2017 Christmas exams were started. We also got exam duties. For us classes were arranged and all of us have to go to certain classes for exam duty. Apart from that teachers also ask our help in order to supervise the class where they have duty. In the morning section and also in the afternoon section l got exam duties. For eight standard English was the first subject. I wished my students. On 14/12/2017 also I got exam duty in different classes. Exam supervision was a different experience, especially in UP classes. In first time I was little confused. But I managed it. On  15/12/2017 also I went to different classes for exam duty. Overall it was a nice experience.

Week 4 ( 04/12/2017 _ 08/12/2017)

Fourth week of our second internship started on 04/12/2017. Starting of a new month. After three continuous holidays the day was a fresh beginning. Everything went on good. Every student teachers went to their classes on time. On 05/12/2017 we got a special time table. Due to the Revenue district youth festival most of the teachers were absent. So we went to different UP classes. I went to my class on period. This week I was taking ICT lesson plans. Students were very much interested with the power point presentation. I participated in the midday meal programme also. On 06/12/2014  there was a morning assembly. It was specially conducted to congratulate Amina from 8 A class , Who won the first prize  in Aeorobics in the state special school  youth festival. Her certificate and trophy were distributed in the assembly. Headmistress congratulated her and PTA president handed over her prizes. Today also I went for serving the food.
        On 07/12/2017 Bindusha teacher came for observing the classes of natural science training teachers and Praveen sir also came for observing the classes of malayalam training teachers. Both of them observed everyone's class.
On 08/12/2017 our optional teacher Smt Reetha Ravi and General teacher Chithra teacher came for class observation. Teacher asked us to arrange the classes. We arranged the classes. On second period Greeshma, third period Archa, fourth period I, and fifth period Neenu. Chithra teacher observed Neenu and some other teacher trainees' classes. Archa and my classes were not observed by chithra teacher. In the afternoon there was a special assembly. That assembly was shooting in a helycam. Students were very much intersted with all of that. With the ending of the fourth week our second class observation was also over.With the end of this week I have completed 15 lesson plans. This week was intersting and gave a lot of new experiences.

Week 3 (27/11/2017- 31/11/2017)

        Third week started with a very good news. SSVHSS Chirayinkeezhu got a second over all in Attingal sub district youth festival. In the morning of 27/12/2017 there was the school assembly. Over all trophy and individual trophies were distributed. Headmistress Ajithakumari teacher congratulated everyone. In the afternoon our optional techer Smt Reetha Ravi and General teacher Smt Chithra came for observation. Reetha teacher observed Greeshma's class and chithra teacher observed another teacher trainee's class. On that day I started the new chapter 'Solitude' a poem by Ella wheeler wilcox. On the next day 28/11/2017  chithra teacher again came for class observation. She observed different classes. I expected her in my class but she didn't came.
             On 29/11/2017 we expected our teachers for class observation. But they didn't came. In the afternnon we participated in the midday meal section and served the food. On 30/11/2017 the climate was not good. There was heavy rain and storm. The whole teachers went somewhere to participate in a funeral. Headmistress gave us special duties. We went to different classes in each periods to controll the class. Due to heavy rain collector announced to close every schools in TVPM in the afternoon. 31/11/2017 was a holiday announced by state goverment for the celebration of the birth of Muhammed Nabi.

School Assembly

Week 2 (20/11/2017- 24/11/2017)

This week was full of tight schedule. Sub district youth festival was in this week. So in school most of the teachers were absent. We got a special time table because of it. It contained all the UP and HS classes. Our HM Smt. Ajithakumari teacher instructed that every student teacher should take the absent teacher's portion in each class. It was little troubling. But we handled it. On 20/11/2017  I got 5 A and 9 F apart from my class. As usual I went to my class also and continued the portion. We participated in the mid day meal section also. On 21/11/2017 I got 8 B and 5 A class. I went their and took classes. On time I went to my class also.  I got a 6 th standard class also in the same day . In that day also all of us participated in the mid day meal programme. On 22/11/2017 I got 6 B and 8 C. It troubled me a lot. Because as a part of youth festival classes were mixed. I searched a lot for 8 C . From the school authority l got the information that 8 C is with 8F. But students said that it is with 8 B. That surprised and confuded me. On my period  I went to my 8 E class and continued the chapter 'The School for Sympathy'.
               On 23/11/2017 our optional teacher Smt. Reetha Ravi came for our class observation. We 4 English optional student teachers are in the school, Greeshma, Neenu, Archa and me. I was little tensed but I managed it. Teacher told that before noon we should arrange classes for observation. We arranged classes with the help of school techers. Teacher observed only three classes. After my class observation teacher told me that I improved a lot but should keep on improving more. On 24/11/2017 we expected our optional teacher as one observation was pending. But she didn't came. As usual I went to my class. I finished 7 lesson plans and the chapter I had been taken for all these days was also finished. Over all the second week was little busy, interesting, and gave a lot of new experiences.

Second school internship weekly report

Week 1 ( 15/11/2017 - 17/11/2017)

The second school internship programme was  started from 15/11/2017. The school allotted for me for the second school internship was SSVHSS, Chirayinkeezhu.My optional subject is English. On the first day  we the sixteen student teachers of SNTC, Nedunganda reached the school on time. After visiting the HM we started the second phase of our internship. On the first day everyone interacted with the students. On my period I also went to the class and chatted with students and created  a good understanding with the students. The class allotted for me was 8 E. On the second day 16/11/2017 I started the first lesson. The chapter was 'The School for Sympathy' written by E V Lucas. Students were very curious and all of them   responded well. We made an over all timetable including every ones periods. It was very useful for everyone. We participated in the mid day meal programme and surved food for students.On the third day 17/11/2017 every one came to school on time. All of us including me was very comfortable with the school atmosphere. Everyone went to their clases on time. On my period I was continuing the class with the second portion of the chapter. As usual we participated in the mid day meal programme. Students were practicing for the arts festival. We helped them. Overall the first week was very  much satisfactory and good.
